From several years ago, the print screen functionality was available in Windows, this functionality allows the user to take a picture from the current content in the screen and save it in the clipboard, ready to be pasted in any app with the Ctrl + V shortcut or with the right click + paste. To take a print screen in Windows, you have a direct key in the keyboard named “Print Screen”, just push that key and your print screen will be ready to paste from the clipboard. In modern Windows, you can configure that all the screenshots can be automatically saved inside the folder /username/pictures/screenshots, this is very convenient and useful also. But what happen if you don’t need all the content in the screen, maybe you are going to use only a portion of that, for example a single window or piece of website, to do that you can use the app Snip & Sketch, this app allow you select a piece of the screen very quick and then, create a image just of the right area.

To open Snip & Sketch, just type it in the Windows Button or press the keys: Windows + Shift + S.

The app also include an image preview with tools to make complementary edit.
